Dane County MLS Pending Condo Sales up 48% - April 2013

We measure the number of Dane County condo listings with accepted offers on the last day of each month. This snapshot provides us with a forward looking view of Madison area condo sales over the next month. Dane County Pending Condo Sales - April 2013 (excluding homes) On April 30th, 325 Dane County condo listings had accepted offers, up 48% from the 219 listings from April 30th of 2012. This snapshot predicts we'll see May condo sales land far above the sales total from May of 2012. This month's data shows a continuing trend of more buyers jumping back into the condo market. Condo sales this year are outpacing sales from last year by about 50%. One big reason is condos are much more affordable compared to several years ago.
